Has anyone added a fishbox to a full transom themself? I just picked up a 98 2520 MVSC and would like to add a fishbox. Pictures of any 98 Transom fishboxes would be helpful.

Thanks, This is a great site!

I know there have been many discussions about this issue. Some guys just throw ice in the box and say it keeps the ice for days. Others say it needs more insulation and we've talked about how we might do that.

I had started a project involving separating the outer 1/3's from the center section and icing the center section only. Got distracted with other stuff and never finished (started) that project.

If you come up with any ideas, put em' up!!!

Not certain, but I believe the poster presently has a 'clean' transom (like mine), and is looking to build fishboxes...

mrjlove... is this what you have now, and are you looking for someone who has built custom fishboxes?

Correct. The factory told me I can order the fishboxes from a local dealer (dont know what the cost is yet). I was wondering if anyone has take this project on or gone the custom route?
