That looks great, nice to see the c125 fits on the dash......that's on my list as well.

Superboat5 how were the vents to install? I've read on here where some people had some difficulty with them. It is one of the projects I'm considering to add venting to my 2520XL.

grouperjim - I have the 8 plait from Lewmar and it works 99% of the time, 300 feet rode and 15 feet chain

Sorry I left out the word "chain" in my previous post. When I first set up my windlass, I had some issues with the chain spacing. It took me a couple of tries to get the perfect chain to run through the gypsy butter smooth. The gypsy will grind and jump a bit if the chain spacing is off.

There might be small differences in the portholes used, but my 1996 took a set of IRS-512S Beckson Rain Shields.
My windows are 5"x12" and the shields fit perfectly.

It takes 1/4in BBB or G4 chain. For fast hookups I recommend that with this lighter weight chain [1/4in] that you use your boat as the gauge. Length of boat = length of chain... So 25ft in your case. After all. Your not going to be pulling on it again. :)

Yeah I hear you on the chain. Had done the research on the correct chain for the Lewmar which is what you cite above. While I may be good at many things, picking out chain is not one of those things. I had relied on the "expert" at West Marine to select and cut a 35' piece of chain for the Lewmar when I bought it. Paid $25 for the exotic splice to the 8 plait line but wrong chain spacing.........and not returnable. Then went to a Marine salvage yard to try to save a couple of bucks on the new (next) chain. Again assured to be the right chain, and again wrong. Frustrated I ordered it online and got the right stuff finally.
