My question is would a set of 20 ft outriggers be to big for a 25 ft parker,
i will mount them on the cabin top

I don't think so, but make darn sure you use 1.5" poles and heavy, large backing plates.

By now, if you've perused the CP project pages, you must have seen the other multiple projects where drilling holes ovesize, wetting wood core with epoxy, filling with thickened epoxy, and then drilling tap drill sized holes to fit the fasteners - is the order of the day.

Nothing less is desirable IMHO for such an item subject to such intense loading and movement [i.e., the base may not 'move per se, but it sure is subject to high loading!]

I think these are 18's never actually measured them, they came with the boat......Do you remember what you put on Keith?????
Maybe 16's

if youre putting them on a 2520, and using roof mounts, you might want to consider 18's instead. my buddys boat has that same setup, and his riggers stick out over his transom pretty good, plus they flex in heavy seas. theyre on the outside limits for roof mounts, but they are perfectly fine for that boats spread. we went with 16s since our pilothouse sticks out a bit further. now, if you were willing to go for the side mounts, then 20's would probably be fine, but thats a whole different system. FWIW.

The outriggers I am lusting after are the Lee Jr Wishbones that use 2" poles.
I want to pair them with 19' polished poles... when my money tree blooms. :)
