2820 Suzuki 300s

Has anyone here repowered a 2820 with Suzuki 300s? I'm looking for performance numbers and general satisfaction.

My buddy has a 2820 with twin 300 Yamahas , it does 55 mph. Crazy!

I just put twin Suzuki 300's on my 2830. I've only been out once to break in motors. I'm trying to figure out why Im so stern heavy. My Lenco trim tabs aren't working, so maybe that'll help push my stern up and bow down.

Suzuki 300's are 77lbs heavier than a Yamaha 300. That may be your issue

Same horsepower as Yamaha but 140lbs heavier= slower than Yamaha with twins, but still fast.
