I'm looking to purchase a 2120 and was wondering how the anchor locker drains? I don't see any drain holes near the bow, does it drain into the bilge? What's the advantage of that, when it seems so simple to have it drain directly overboard. Thanks for any info on this.

Also does anyone have any info on performance of a 2120 with a Yamaha 150 4-stroke, like minimum planing speed, max speed, fuel consumption, etc. Thanks also.

Anchor locker drains into the bilge. I have this same set up with the 150 4-stroke. not exact numbers but I cruse (usually with a full tank of fuel) 2-3 guys and a 30+ gal livewell that is full between 18.5-22knots at 4000-4400, not exact numbers here. if you play with the tabs ect I am sure you can get her on plan in the 3300 range but to be honest I have not really tried or payed attention to that.

4000-4000 I am buring 7.5-9.2 gals an hour depending on the rmps, load, seas ect. I use 8-8.5 gals an hour as an average

If you anchor in a heavy mud or silt area, how do you prevent all the mud a silt that's on the end of your chain from all going into your bilge as you wind itup on the wndlass? That to me, seems to be the biggest problem with having the anchor locker drain into the bilge, plus I've been reading on here how important it is to keep your bilge dry, especially for your fuel tanks sake, and now your going to have mud and silt in there???

No overboard anchor locker drain means bigger deeper locker. period end of story. The small amount of water that gets into your bilge wont hurt anything and your tank is not sitting on or in the bilge so its fine too.
