Hello,
Looking for ideas anyone might have for storing my anchor.
Something better than the rubbermaid tote it currently calls home.
Also, anyone ever build any transom seating for the same boat?
Thanks

I'll bet that if you posted a couple of photos, you might get some ideas.

Seating in the rear that would be non-invasive (and removable) could be as easy as coolers with seat cushions.

For a little more work, the transom could be boxed in similar to the photo below, and a folding seat (think Birdsall Marine) could be added.
Parker actually offers a folding rear seat on the newer boats.

Building an anchor locker is possible depending on your fabrication and fiberglass skills.
What I would envision would be to box in the bow (about the size of that cooler) and put an anchor roller on there.
Store the anchor on the bow in the roller and the rode in the newly fabricated chain locker.

Take a look in the Projects area for people with more fab skill than I have, and see what they have done.

Did you ever see the lightweight and removable bench seat I put across the stern of my 25' SC model?

Thanks for the tips. Looks great.
Like the anchor locker idea. Probably way beyond my fiberglass skills though.

Thanks.

How about rode storage in a huge plastic container, w/drain holes, where the bow cooler is now? Then put a closing anchor hawse pipe on the bow deck so the rode drops into that container?

Simple ...

The pic doesn't show it but I currently have a rubbermaid tote that holds everything. It sits where the cooler is.
The anchor is the bigger problem. Trying to find a way to store that without a ton of effort.
Love the bench!

Put a large SS bow roller off the bow to hold the anchor akin to a pulpit does ... ready to deploy!

I use one if those big orange crabbing baskets for my wreck anchor setup. Easier to deal with than shoving down into the undersized Parker anchor locker.
