Morning,
Stumbled onto this Parker about 2 weeks before Christmas while enjoying some warm december weather on my Privateer. 89 23' WA with a 89 200hp Evinrude. The picture doesn't do this boat justice, it is super clean inside and out and ready to join the masses in dragging fake fish to catch real ones.

Nice looking boat!

I too am anxious to try my hand at "dragging fake fish to catch real ones". I was thinking with all I have invested in boat and fishing gear, my cost-per-fish will be pretty high but may be offset all the professional couseling I'll avoid.

I have to apologize for the dragging fake fish thing. Even though I have been on the east coast for 12 years now I still can not let go of the catfishin bug. But I have to say getting the Parker has put visions of fighting rocks in my dreams. I still hope to get to the potomoc every now and then for some good ol blue cats in the Parker.
Thanks to this site I know answers will never be far from reach and the most valuable resource (experience) is readily available.

And Hyjack if you ever want to join me for a cold weather fishing trip say the word, the discharge at chock point can make you think its spring in reagrds to water temp and the channel cats and perch seem to gather there when the pax turns cold
