Looks like you found out its a handy place to hang a coupl'a Outboards too! Wicked Cool 8) 8)
 
How many times did you bang your head installing the tabs?

Now that you mention it... none.. which is quite surprising.

There are some rough edges on the tabs that if I'd fallen into it I could have sliced an artery.... that didn't happen either.

One time last year I had left the bilge hatch open... and I got up into the boat from the platform... sat my butt on the transom.... swung my feet over... put them down and one went right down into the bilge skinning my shin as it went.. fortunately I did no damage to the boat.
