there is so much info out there and before I start this project I thought I would see if anyone else put one of these in.

I purchased a BLUESEA 7650 SOLENOID/BATTERY DUAL CIRCUIT SYSTEM, for my 2320. still waiting for it to come in

I am going to remove my battery charger because it no longer works. any thoughts on this, seems like a nice setup to avoid a dead battery. I have dual batteries on the boat. looked at the wiring diagram on line and seems a bit confusing.

any help would be appreciated

I like Blue Seas Products. They make some very nice stuff. But I don't like this one. See how neat it looks in the package? You will never get cable to turn in a tight enough radius to install this unit compactly.

Perhaps I'm just use to the BEP cluster to much, but I like the individual control of each battery that a BEP cluster gives you. You know EXACTLY what battery you are turning On & Off. That and it's a Much neater / Compact package.

I had a problem the other day and thought I had a VSR failure of a BEP cluster. The symptoms went like this.

Garmin MFD display just shut down while out fishing. "Damn! were gonna loose this day!"

Reboot and it shuts down again. Look up at the VHF......Screen says "Low Voltage".

No meter on the boat at that time. Look at Voltage via gauge of motor and reading charging voltage to Start battery. It's good.

Had Son turn the "Combine" switch ON. "Low Voltage" on VHF goes away.

Reboot Garmin MFD. It's Online then. Finish the day fishing.
---------------------------------
Next day
Remove VSR from other boat. Take it with me to install on Parker.

Disconnect small GND wire to VSR first. VSR starts clicking and Red idiot light comes on.

Problem solved........Lost the GND connection for the VSR...... It's Fixed.

Reinstall the other VSR back on the other boat.

That is the 1st and only time I've had a problem with a BEP Cluster. And it was of no fault of the unit itself.

thanks for the response. is that the only thing that you don't like. did you actually have one on your boat and could not get the wiring to do what you wanted.
