I am going to have to run two wires through my transom for underwater lights. Above the waterline. Whats the cleanest way? Standard clam shell over the wires? Is there anything else I can use? I plan on protecting the core with epoxy.

Oh yea i see you got underwater lites!!!Very nice what ones did you end up getting!!!!

I'm going with the ScarabChris lights. Still not sure if I want the wires out of the top or the back though.

Well like i said when i 1st got them i got throught the top so i sent them back and got it the wires to come threw the back much better threw the back and it looks very clean!!Thats just my thoughts about it!!!

It does look better, I'm just not crazy about the way caulk seals up against plastic. I'm a freak when it comes to anything below the waterline.

Yea i hear you dom well they mounted mine and the guy told me they came out perfect and look awesome very bright!!!

before you buy the scarab chris lights check these out from scott cambra.

here is what he said about them --put it on the bottom of your boat, you put it just under the waterline on your transom shooting behind you, not below, there is no drag, that part of the transom is not even in the water when your underway and it is only a inch thick so face mounting is easy, mine you do not have to drill a huge hole in your transom, just a small one or none at all with the bracket

Well i am gotten mine from scrab chris already and put them in already and the hole was very small for the wires, but those lites you have are very nice as well how bright are they? they look good and what is cost of them?

I am not sure of the cost.
Scott sent these photos to me and I thought the Parker boys would like taking a look.
All I can say about Scott's stuff is it is well designed and built tough.

I can say it looks like there are more LED then scarab chris but mine are in already!!!So i am not changing them now!!!

Hey tom i didnt install mine i left it to the pros on making the hole in the back of the transom!!! I sure as hell didnt want to make a mistake on doing that but i know few others that have the lites as well and are going to be doing it so someone will get back to you on it from here.I wanted to make sure it was sealed up rite and nice and tight so no water gets in.
