Bottom Painting 1801

I will need to bottom paint my boat this year. What is the best method? Should I sand w/ 80 grit or use the sandless primer from Petit? The boat will be in the water from May 1st to Oct 31st.

I was shopping online today and saw the Interlux handbook as a pdf file online at

This a vendor site and I expect Interlux web site would have more information I save the pdf file further use

No, it has not been painted. It is three years old and has lived on the trailer. This year I got a slip with the hope I will use the boat more.
