Bracket zinc’s

What is everyone doing when you change out the zinc on the bottom of the bracket. Are you putting any sealant on the threads or bottom of zinc or just screwing the new one in.

Put sealant around the stud/ bolt on the inside of the Bracket tub. The Zinc MUST make metal to Metal contact. If it doesn't it will NOT be effective at doing it's job.

Thanks warthog I thought it was odd when I took it off there was nothing around the threads
