Has anyone installed or made a cabinet for the 2520XL that is installed between the outside steps down to the deck and the pilothouse door on the starboard side? If so any pictures or source for the cabinet.

Thanks Bryan for the link. I was at my boat today and tried to visualize what it would be like to have a tackle station at the subject location, i.e. against the bulkhead between the door and the steps. I am afraid that the tackle station would prevent safe use of the steps. Therefore, given that my only choice is to remove one of the side facing seats and installing the tackle station in its place. Decisions, decision, decisions!

I have a second station where you were thinking of putting the tackle station/cabinet. I find that though it is somewhat cumbersome to use the starboard steps, it is still usable space. That space is waiting to be filled with a useful unit. Obviously, your boat and you have to feel comfortable running it, but think about that tackle station/cabinet in that spot before you take out a valuable interior seat. Besides it would be where the action is 8)
