Hey All - well, we've started losing some functionality on the electronics to corrosion and rot - and while we are behind the helm (and across the stern) fixing things up we want to clean up the wiring mess from 22 years (and two previous owners) on our 2003 2120 SC. The question: has anyone gone through a process of cleaning things up: bundling, labeling, properly hanging/affixing the wiring - and can provide some pics of their finished work? Always easier to work off photos...

You will need the dual plunger for the epoxy.

FORGET the little pads with the double sided tape... They will fall off before you can get out of the driveway.

Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol.... sand with 80gt...clean with alcohol again BEFORE you glue them.
Weld Mount is tough to come by these days… it’s been a few months since I needed to restock, but unless things have changed supply is still tight.

Looks like a good product.
If the surface is painted do you just rough the paint with 80 grit or do you need to sand through to the fiberglass base before applying adhesive?

BEP Question: I’ll be rewiring to switch from Perko’s to BEP cluster; twin engine 3-bank application. When running larger gauge conductors from batteries to BEP cluster and beyond should I be concerned about grouping the conductors; or should they be more separated.

If paint has good adhesion...Just scratching it will be fine... It's rare I put them on a painted surface ...usually on slick/shiny Gelcoat. wipe with ispro achoale....sand.....then achol wipe again.

You can tye wrap them together.

I always wondered what that factory does with excess cable (like nmea and transducer). They ran the excess down into the cable bundle and back, doing a 180 with it (on a 2023 model year.)

In the Pix above... See those Tye Wraps that have been cut with a pair of cutting pliers aka D-ykes? They will rip the back side of your hand or arm open.... Always use a single edge razor blade and cut them flush.
