I saw picture of a 25 cc with a custom coffin box which matched the gel coat of the rest of the boat perfectly. Does any one know where I can get one? I saw the prefab. by Frigid just looking for others. It's going to go on a 23 cc.

Greetings:

If "coffin box" means a big cooler, I have one on my 2520 that is made by an outfit named "SSI", it's a 350qt size, has a "divider" that can keep the drinks separate from the fish, and is made of UV-resistant ABS. I've had it for about 8 years and can't remember whether it matched the gel-coat color. As of now, it's a few shades lighter than the non-skid deck, but has survived without the "chalking" that happens pretty quick in the Florida sun.

Watukie -

I believe that boat was Capt. Gene Quigley's 2501 that appeared in Saltwater Sportsman last year. I loved the coffin box but I priced it out and it was around $3000.

Do a search because his boat is for sale on several boat websites. There are some good pictures of the coffin box on one of those sites. My next boat will have one.

Um
Your right it was Capt. Quigley's boat. Wasn't it nice? I think Parker should really offer it as an option. It went perfect with the boat. It would be the answer to everyone's storage question.

Greetings:

I don't have any digital pics of the cooler but you might want to checkout the following: www.ssicustomplastics.com/Coolers.htm . It has several pics, specifications and available accessories.
