DMF Carpet

Its from the makers of Nu-Teak
They can make “Logo’s”……..i.e. PARKER
And they say it has noise deader
$ 7.99 Sq Ft
I have Dri-deck now $4.35 Sq Ft
But it hurts your bare feet
Good for dropping Scuba tanks and weights and gives a good foot hold
I have it in the pilot house too

DMF Carpet
Looks softer and noise reduction might work better
And a nice Logo in the center of cockpit might look good
With a bieg mat and black boarder…Hmmmmm
They have two videos on the site of it
What do you guys think????

I always thought it would be really slick to do the teak and holly in the cabin by providing them a template.

I agree
But I do like the cushin of the carpet
Not to mention though be it small more noise control

Sully,

Thanks for the tip.

I am going to look into this product for my 2530. I have been looking for a non-skid solution for my 2530 cabin floor and this looks ideal.

At $8/sf, I think I can do the cabin for around $200.

I also saw it here

http://marineflooring.net/

The only thing that I read that I was thinking about was
under FAQ they said

How long will it last?

This largely depends on use and abuse, but an average of 4 years before a replacement is a consideration. DMF also has a 1 year unconditional wear and tear and UV fade guarantee to boot!

I thought that sounded short for a time span
Maybe we will get longer? I hope....
