parker 2120 150hp upgrade to 225hp

I have a 2120 with a 150 yamaha, thinking about upgrading to a 225 yamaha. I currently get about 24 mph cruise at about 2.4 mpg, max around 28 mph. Has anyone else done this? Hows the performance/fuel economy etc?

You WILL get better results. You will not be running the Stem Winding Crap out of it.... THAT will improve everything.

A 150 on a 21ft boat like "that" is WAY under powered.
