has anyone found a good alternative to the plastic pegs that keep the door tight on parker pilothouses? i am getting tired of them breaking and am thinking of having them machined out of aluminum but it might be costly.

I thought he meant the catches o the inside of the jamb.

Mine were broke when I got the boat, removed them and never looked back.

yes the door pegs that keep the door tight when you close it. to me they are a neccesity becuse that is the only way you get a tight seal on your door gasket. i have sat in my boat when it is raining and if one of my pegs is broken, i get a little trickle of water inside that discolors that little peice of teak in the door threshhold.
