2005 2520XL w- F250 Yamaha
Just logged in for the first time.
Under contract to purchase my first Parker, C-80 Raytheon, S6001 Auto pilot, marine head, galley, livewell, clean, 550 hrs. warranteed untill 05/11
What would you experts expect to pay for said vessel?
Snug Harbor area, R.I.
Finfish1 :?

The question for those in the know, is WHAT would you "expect" to pay for it!
After I get a few knowledgeable responses, Ill post that figure.

Well then I would pay enough to satisfy the seller but probably not too much so if I post what I actually paid on, say, Classic Parker website that I would embarrass myself by realizing I paid too much.

How's that?

Ok first assumption that its in good or better than avg ....

second is that you stated its got a f250 single which is ok but most NADA's will account for the twin 150 set up

third..........here we go

low avg $35,310
average $40 310

THESE R THE ACTUAL VALUES TO WHOLESALE/replacement

RETALE avg $79 310

MY low offer in this market is $47500

Full price mkt offer $67,200- 15% for mkt conditions $57,100

So there it is i hope you did well..dont be shy tell us!!!

Well it's nice that I received a response from a knowledgeable boater
You're on the mark.
Will post after a few more posts/ responses
Thank-you, very much.
I think his forum is fantastic, and I am looking forward to contributing once I close the deal. Been boating/fishing for close to a half century.

Any pics?

And since I just bought a used 2520XL I'll take a stab at it.

I made an offer on a 2002 and missed it by a couple days but it sold for $27,000.

I also refused a bidding war with another guy on a bit older 2530, it sold for $31,500.

So 2005 under warrantee, with those electronics, $38,000-$39,000 in this market would be good I would think.

Did it include a trailer?

Hey Reely Nauti-

Thanks for your time spent on that question.
48.5K
Had what I wanted, F250 Yam, plus electronic package, although I'll add separate Garmin Chartplotter 2006, and Furuno FF 585 or the 6 inch depending on other expenses.
Only 2520XL on the market w- choice 250 power I could find under 50K, my absolute max. budget.
Nice trade up from my Mako 224 CC !

Informative site, few ideas, and lots of fitting out to do.

Good to c u r excited!!!

Good price you did well and at least u didn't over pay

And i think you r going to enjoy ..........if this deal doesnt work out i know of others with similar for same or less...........

welcome to the Parker WORLD!!!

Price is reasonable. A lot has to do with availability and the condition of the boat. I bought a 2005 2520XL w/ Yamaha F250 in October 2007 for $49.5k. Boat had no electronics, had never been fished, and used for 100 hours.

Hey Capt. Jim.
Thanks for the response.
I agree, you still have it, and if so what have you done to it since then?
Should close in a few weeks, want to start rigging.

Finfish1,

I added a Raymarine C120 combo unit, 4kw Raydome, Ray 55 VHF, and 2nd station, 2 add'l rodholders in the gunnels, and 2 clamp on rod holders to the grab bars on the side of the cabin.

I forgot to previously mention that the boat had a 9.9HP Yamaha kicker on it when I bought it.

Hey Jim-

I've got the exact same license, which expires next month, got to get on that, would not want to test out again after five years.

Hows that motor treated you, and was is your burn at cruise?

Wanted the second station and trailer, which I found, but with the F225, so I decided the boat with the better power package was most important.

I understand the second station is 3.5K installed by local dealers.
How did you go about rigging your station?
