I have a 2002 2520 XL
Bought it with 225 Yamaha in 2010.
standard Yamaha prop 17p. 5300 WOT 29 kts. Long time to get on plane with heavy load (5-6 people).
Switched to Power tech OFS4 15.25x14p 5800 WOT 28 knots Much better out of the hole and midrange 22kts cruise at 4500.
Repowered last year with Yam 250 switched to power tech LFS4 16x15p 5900WOT 30 kts cruise 4400 22kts 5 people.
The thing has all the grunt in the world to get out of the hole full fuel, 7 people plus couple hundred pounds of gear. No problem!
4 blade props add lift which will help keep the bow down and ease out the plane
