Well, it took 4 years on our current boat, but we finally cracked 40. To be exact, it was 41.4 pounds on a certified scale. What makes it better is that my son had the honors to be the first one on the rod this day, and as his luck would have it, this was the first fish. Bunker spoon in 65' of water off Seaside, NJ.
