Made some additions to the Parker 2300 this winter and spring. First I installed a Garmin GHC-10 autopilot this thing is great, it has shadow drive so you can engage the autopilot then take the helm just by turning the wheel. Then when you hold the wheel steady the autopilot takes over.
I also installed broadband radar for my Lowrance, and installed the NMEA 2000 network and the Lowrance expansion port. I put in Sirius Radio/Weather which runs threw my Lowrance HDS unit. I also installed a Big Jon electric planer mast system for my big boards. I hooked a Trollmaster throtle control up to my kicker which lets you micro adjust the throtle from a portable remote. And then I finished of the project with dry deck flooring, a sterio system, and a custom built sterio/radio cabinet from fin addict marine to put under the helm to hide wires and mount electronic equipment to. Took her out yesterday it all worked great. Had the crew over today for a wash and wax party prior to easter dinner  She is ready for some Lake Ontario Salmon Tournament Action. A big thanks needs to go out to this Forum I learned a lot of info and made some good contacts from guys on this site. Thanks again Classic Parker

In a good way :D

You baby looks great and I love the storage you made

Man You set it up real nice 8)

Real nice!

Quick question...how hard was the setup with the sirius for your lowrance.?..I run the same units..

Youre going to love that Radar setup....I'm so impressed with mine

Thanks guys, The Sirius was easy to set up you have the antena that can be mounted a couple diff ways I put mine on an antena mount on the rail on top of the pilot house. the antena runs to a small controll box your antena power supply and the drop cable that runs to your expansion port also come out of same box. You just plug it all in and call Sirius and they turn it on for ya. I got the weather with the package but for me and with having the radar I should have just got the radio. For you guys out on the big water it might be nice, but wave higth and that info does not effect me. The radio is great, up on these lakes with the big hills around them you cant get a radio station on the water. The sirius works and they will let me transfer it to my car in the winter when I pull the boat out. Sean

The round gauge is the Moore Sub Troll I have one in the back you hook a probe just above your down rigger ball, and it gives you the speed and temp at the ball/lure that way when you find salmon at 42 degrees down at 120 FOW at 2mph you can stay on them. Probably the most important peace of fishing equipment on the boat. Some days you might be trolling 3mph on top but 90 ft down you are going 1.5 mph with the current, the sub troll puts an end to that. Sean
