Reely where were the cracks ?

I just bought a used 2005 2520 and a few weeks ago I too found a crack in the cockpit floor.

Where did you buy the boat?

Was it beat up when you purchased it?

My crack is towards port side mid way forward about an 1.25" long and slightly curved.

Other wise my boat seems ok there are some other issues ill deal with later

Reely Nutty (sorry but I couldnt resist as you started it) you are the one who needs to get a grip. I am a fairly recent member and these guys have been nothing but a help to me, megabyte especially. Understand they probably forgot more about this brand of boat than you and me will ever know so when they ask to see pictures of a problem they have not run into (from some guy on the net nobody knows by the way) dont take it so personal. Somebody on here has run into ANY situation you can think of and you will get your questions answered.
I come here to read the info without all the bickering you get on the other sites, lets try to keep it that way.

I can see there is alot of passion with owning a Parker boat but in ReelNauti's defense, we already had a post on this with pictures.

Sure looks like the outline of a Dutchmen, (Football patch in plywood) to me.

Now everybody step back and take a deep breath. :D

I have a similar crack in the deck of my 1999.. not sure if its from a knot or not :)

I also have a recurring crack on the very top of my transom cut-out where it thins out to about a 3/8" thick.

That said, those are really the only problems I have with my boat after a lot of hard use and many hours on the water. If thats all I have to live with, I'll continue to be a happy Parker owner.

Keep discussions CIVIL here folks ... specially when you DISAGREE! No 'tit for tat' wambie pambie name calling, even in retalliation.

We'll get to the bottom of this issue. IMHO the dealer and Parker need to be notified. Anything less is pure speculation. And yes, pictures are worth a 1000 words.

I knew there was a name for that patch, but for the life of me I couldn't recall what it was. Thanks!

Ok hat to bet but I think im on to something....so here another picture of a SECOND crack on my cockpit that has to be addressed.

Parker dealer has been notified and picks sent in Waiting to hear back from Parker, but the dealer has already scheduled a repair.

I concerned because this is the second one and I know I'm not alone....

please dont hesitate to PM me on this subject or call...
