Well I guess I did it right. First time shrink wrapping and it's holding at least a foot of snow on it.

Need more info! Where did you buy the materials, what kind of heat gun did you use? Etc. Etc. Did you take any pictures during the install.
Looks Professional!

Catfish. I got everything from sailorsams.com The heat gun is a Dr. Shrink’s DS-789 SPECIAL Heat Tool.. The cost of everything was 640.00. That includes a roll of shink wrap film. I split the cost with a friend and now we can do our boats for the cost of a roll of film every few years. One of the guy's at work just paid 375.00 to have his 21' wrapped. It's easy. When you buy from sailors sam's it comes with a dvd on how to do it. Also look on youtube lots of videos there. I also added 2 vents and a door. We used a 6mill film, next time I will get the 7 mill. Just a little thicker. If you need a complete list on what we bought let me know and I'll post it upp for you..

Post up, I would like to see how you did it and cost involved.

That shrink wrap would go nice around my winter frame.

This is what we got.

1) DS-789 Shrink Wrap Heat Gun:with training video.

2) 1 roll of Shrink Wrap Tape

3) 4 Vents

4) 2 Access doors

5) 1 bag of 1000 buckles

6) 1/2” X 1500’ Woven Cord Strapping

7) Strap Tensioning Tool

8 ) Professional Film Cutting Knife. ( looks like a seat belt cutter)

9) 1 roll of shrink wrap. We got 20x100 6 mill.

Other items needed,
A fire ext., ( just in case) I used a weight lifting bar to hold the roll of shrink wrap between 2 ladders so I could un-roll it onto the boat, a tape messure, a couple of 2x4's. I used rags on the end of the 2x4's so it would not rip the wrap. That's about it. Just a side note, if you have a top with rocket launchers tennis balls fit in the laungers and protect the wrap.

It's easy, I did this by my self and really had no problems.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
