Has anyone ever added flotation to their existing bracket or installed a flotation bracket on a 23dvcc to get rid of the low speed plaining issue? Seems like it would be an easy solution to the problem. I know all about the rev 4 wheels and what not but that’s just a band aid on the issue. Making the bracket follow the hull all the way back to the motor should be the solution. Just thinking out-loud here ......

What your explaining has been done. I’m exploring the same idea myself. I’m undecided if I’m going to fabricate 2 aluminum tanks or simply expand the current flotation portion of my bracket.
