Tim,

I use this stuff all over the place. Guys at the marina are always asking me to get some for them so I buy it by the case. I use it on everthing such as reels including drags, windless, battery terminals, hinges, rub rails, stainless, fiberglass, engine etc.

This stuff is lanolin based not petroleum. Man at nearby marina uses it on all his trailers and fork lift chains that get dunked daily. He swears by it. Also I read that it is the same as woody wax, Sure smells like it I have used it on the roof of my sport cabin on the anti skid last year and it worked fine. Have not tried it on the decks yet.

As you can tell I give this stuff a 10 !

Hi Bean,

When I checked local "dealers" in the zip code search, there is one like 5 minutes from my house. I may have to pick up a can. In the video, there is a guy spraying his hull with the stuff and buffing it?!?!

Capt John Deering (a long time member here) swears by the stuff!
If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.

I use Fluid Film all the time after each outing, spray it on Trailer, power trim, steering ram and all electrical connections,My trailer is 5 years old and shows no signs of rust anywhere even on the galvanize u-bolts.

I use the stuff too, works great on aluminum.

If your gold rocket launchers are faded this stuff brings them right back.

I once sold a boat that was faded by spraying it down with fluid film, looked great when the buyer came. 8)

Ordered 2 cans myself last week gotta try it out. Should I spray all electrical connections on motor or just spray down whole motor with this stuff?

You can do the whole motor without worry.

We use a lot of it. Its great stuff, lanolin-based, as has been said. We buy it in cans, but you can get gallons and 5-gallon pails. I'm going to spray the entire underbody of my new truck with it, and the brake/tranny lines get a double-dose.
