Has any installed a forward mounted 2" receiver on their tow vehicle???

I'm thinking of putting one on my Ram 1500 to make it easier to put the boat into its winter resting spot. I have never used a trailer in that configuration before but I assume it would provide greater maneuverability because of the steering wheels being closer to the pivot.

Any thought or suggestions. Parts?

never on a truck, but the marina I used to work at had one mounted on the front of a fork lift and it made moving boat trailers a dream.

I have one on the front of my Dodge. Ram 2500 Diesel.
I had some very tight spots to put my boat(s) away.
It can make the difference between getting it in and not getting it done at all.
I did crack my transfer case twice but I installed a heavier box the last time and haven't had an issue since.
Mine is welded in.
Don't use it to tow your boat on the freeway.
