UPDATE: Cover Installed!!

Well all,

I finally got around to cleaning the deck of the boat a bit and installing the cover. All I can say is I am very happy with the results! If anything the cover is "just slightly" on the large size but overall fits extremely well. After seeing the pictures of the cover online its seems that the fit is about right. I also realized I should have probably wrapped the straps around the hull and not the trailer so that's something I will take care of this week. The cover was large enough that it covered most of the outboard and trim tabs which I'm really happy about. I have enclosed some pics below. Please disregard the quality as it was starting to get dark when I took them. Feel free to ask any questions, but I think its safe to say that this is a very nice and reasonably priced way to cover your boat. The odds are that this cover could probably fit a 2320, especially one without a pulpit. If you have a pulpit just get the next size up (I got the 22-24 ft cover).

On a side note, I have a nasty rust stain on my pulpit from my anchor chain. Anyone have any good tips on how to remove the stain? Thanks.

I wonder if that budge will fit a 2530 it does look like they run big. Maybe the next size up and see. Your thoughts.

Hi Kid,

Unfortunately I checked the amazon link and it doesn't look like they are selling the 24-26 ft cover anymore :(. I purchased the 22-24 ft cover and I believe it will certainly fit a 2320, but a 2530 might be pushing it with the same cover. Budge does have a website though and can probably hook you up with a cover that fits. The only concern with a 2530 is the beam width which I'm sure you know is 114". The largest budge covers are designed for 106" beam which may not cut it for your needs but is worth considering. I have enclosed a link for the model cover you would want to look into. I have the 600 denier cover which in your size goes for $420 on their website, but you may be able to find a better deal elsewhere or look into the 20% off deal they have on their website. It is a BTHT-8 Jumbo T-top cover and is designed for a 106" beam and 24-26 ft boat length. You may want to contact them and see what they say. As you mentioned, the covers do seem to run big and as long as you could get it just over your gunnels it wouldn't be so bad if the length fit ok. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

P.S. As an update to everyone the cover seems to be holding up tremendously well so far. Its survived some moderate winds, light snow and rain in the past few weeks without any issues. I'll reply back if anyone has anymore questions or if not let people know how the cover holds up after the remainder of the winter season.
