I have a 2004 2520xl with a 225 Yamaha 4 stroke and with fuel costs going through the roof I want to install a fuel flow meter. What is a good brand and dependable?

Don't know whats good but the Lowrance fuel meter Sucks! :x

Went round and round with that same question last spring when I was outfitting my 2520xl w F250/2005.
Having installed many "flowscan" models, for about $300,that was my first choice.
However after speaking with flowscan and researching, flowscan doesn't recommend that unit with the F250/F225.
So I installed the Yammy guage, about twice the cost, it matches the other instruments, and gives me km/gal as well as gals/hr, and of course total fuel burned since reset.
Everything I buy for that engine, I get raped, just get used to it.
But, I'm very satisfied with that guage, go for it, you won't be sorry.
