For those in need I will be selling these redesigned cover plates in the near
future. Waiting to hear back from a few customers on fit. I added more material around the original version to relieve some of the cracking but I think alot is due to over tightening, not necessarily for these. They will be $50 with free shipping to most of USA. Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii would need to include $10 more. They will be available in two colors, sea foam (a bit lighter than fish white, no longer available) and white.
