I have a 2007 2320 standard off white color. I'm starting to noticed my full transom /swim platform is starting to show signs of corrosion I would like to repaint the aluminum swim platform and was wondering if there is a good color match I could use without having to re powder coated. Thank you Robert

A boat of your vintage, Armstrong used Imron paint on the bracket. Isolate your SS hardware better and it will help with the dissimilar metal corrosion that you are seeing.

Thanks for the information this is great and the link is very helpful. I will order the Egg Shell White Thanks again Robert

FYI I have a 2008 2320 and ordered awlcraft eggshell white and it does not match my bracket.

Believe it or not when all Parkers were their signature beige color the factory imron paint put on by Armstrong did not match on new boat. It was a lighter shade compared to the Parker beige. Factor in UV fading on gelcoat vs the painted bracket over time the colors will shift even more.

I didn't know Armatrong made brackets for Parker?

Most were made by Stainless marine....... Do not confuse the manfactures name with the bracket material.... The material is alum. and were powdercoated.

Armstrong brackets have been Powdercoated for a Long time.

I called Armstrong and they sold me a 2 part paint that matched perfect.

Hey Bobby,

Vintage 2006+ brackets according to Parker were made by Armstrong. And per a call to Armstrong at that time they were painted with Imron. I was having some corrosion due to some poorly isolated SS hardware and had to do some sanding and refinishing. Things change past and present so who knows these days.

Both Armstrong Nautical and Stainless Marine have paint touch up kits.

Hi Brent our brackets are aluminum and are powder coated the powder coating
paint over very well I recommend a poly urethane paint like algrip and an
aluminum pimer fort the bare aluminum. Jerry
