Dang! You guy's blew this one up from yesterday. LOL

They sell those jugs like Brent got on Jeg's for fuel. The guy's use them all the time for fueling race cars....Mainly Drag cars with small tanks.

To me, the jug's are a pain.

I have a Plastic 55gal barrel I can put in the back of the truck. I hook a Grounding wire to the barrel and put the other end on the ground before fueling. This grounds the tank and bleeds off any static electricity to ground.

Then use a electric fuel pump and filter setup to pump into the boat.

Are you guys using these jugs to fill the fuel cells in your boats? Are the boats kept at a marina and don't want to pay marina / on the water prices?
Wart, why do you fill a 55 gallon drum w/ fuel instead of using a fueling station as you do trailer your 2530, correct? Or is it dry stacked and don't want the marina sure charge?

Use to drystack and filled at marina.

My rig is 53ft long with truck hooked up.

If you pull into a gas station that has Non Ethonal

#1 Your always going to be blocking something up....

#2 You have to move the boat again to fill the other tank..... Hose will not reach.

For us, we drive to Florida which takes around 18 hours with 2 drivers taking turns and a sit down dinner. When we arrive, the house is open, shower and Suburban is unloaded then go to grocery store. We head home to unload then a couple hours nap then a trip for shrimp, boat and car gas. Usually purchase 50 gallons and have a large yard cart for hauling to boat and fuel up and add Ring Free. Next open boat, wash and clean. I bought a Battery Minder charger and top off the battieries and it desulphates them, too. The Admiral is busy trimming bushes and I help. See what needs done. Now, rook leaks and repaired 3 times but no go, and now need a new one. By evening, home is open and gas cans back in storage and boat and fishing items are in the cart, dinner is ready and we might fish off the dock and or watch a movie. It is cheaper and saves times to haul in e zero gas than go to the marina which 40 minutes away in Punta Gorda. It works for us.

I am not allowed to fuel at my dock according to boat owners regulations we have 60 docks. I all so think Army Corps of Engineers prohibit it on Lake Erie, I have 4 gas docks to chose to stop for fuel. I know 3 of them sell 89oct no eth with Marine Tech added $2.99 $3.08 gal so on 20gal I could save$10 not worth the trouble to transport. I might add when I pull in for fuel they help me tie up and hand me the nozzle where I put it is my decision .I know the new style gas containers are a real PITA I fuel my tractor with a funnel like Brent uses no more fuel splatters.
