I struggled to find the perfect outrigger mounts for my 2019 2520xld. I found them, Gemlux Bluewater with four inch handles. No head banging. They adjust up and out from inside the cabin. I am so happy with my installation. I'm just waiting on the poles.

You have an awesome boat; I hope you post more photos sometime.... I have a 2013 2520 XLD sgl Yamaha 300. I love the Parkers! My radar is the 2014 Garmin HD 18" dome; it does real well but I've read nothing but great things about the newer Phantom model...

Thank you. I had a problem with the original install. It would spin up; but, wouldn’t paint anything. I sent it back and Garmin sent a replacement. It’s been great since; but, this post was about my new outrigger mounts. Lol

Nice job I hope you went for the carbon fiber poles. I installed Rupp on mine in 2015. They are a surface mount to avoid the head banging if sitting in one of the jump seats.

Thanks Lucky John. I did go for carbon fiber poles. I’m still waiting for them. I was very worried about head banging also and considered the Rupp surface mounts. I was worried about the leverage they could cause because they are so tall. These hang down less than 5” and with the handles stowed out board it’s about 4”. No head banging even in the jump seat. I centered them 5” aft and 5” inboard of the center bolt on the roof handrail. I also bought the short handle set.

Great install. Might be a head knicker for me at 6’5” and. Wheel house setup like 2530

I really don't think so. When in the Captian's chair there is a lot of room between my head and the bottom. In the jump seat I have to really try to even come close. I'm 5'9". This pic is backwards but it shows the clearance.

I have the Rupp 15' retractable ones. I started out with the aluminum ones but after a manufacturer issue with the fittings I was offered a great deal on the carbon fiber ones and went for it. It is much easier to deploy as they were a lot lighter, esp in rougher sea conditions. The last couple of years they have come out with wide tracker speader bars (Sterling Tackle) that are the real deal, in fact you don't even need the outriggers as they run about 15' and you don't gain much more having them run off the outriggers.

PS on a side note the mast light that Parker gives you sucks. That knob/fitting won't hold after one season, just changed mine after constant aggravation of it falling over by itself.

I've had her for 15 months now and never had a problem. I tilted the light mast forward (to give more room for the center rigger) and tipped the light back to level it. It hasn't moved.

I have the opposite problem with my light mast arm knob. I can’t get it to loosen up as it’s seized so I can’t get to stand up.

I did a Gulf Stream trip this past weekend got a black fin tuna off the center rigger and two short bites on the outriggers. I need to work on my spread.
