Hey Everyone,

It was a tough call, but I sold my parker 2120 with an f200 and 800 hours last fall for $23k (I mention price just cause I think it’s helpful for people to have comps for what these actually sell for), I grew up with a 1999 1801 and have always really liked parker boats and finally getting a pilot House boat was a dream come true. It just wasn’t the right boat for choppy New England waters, would roll a lot on the drift, and I didn’t like how separated the pilot house was from the action on deck. But for 21’ it was an amazing little boat. Thanks to everyone here for making this such a helpful forum and great place to spend time.

I ended up moving into a 26’ Webber’s cove, it has a big keel and 10’6” beam so should do well on the drift. She’s powered by a 315hp Yanmar diesel and cruises 22kt while burning around 6gph. It’s a big change coming from outboard boats (loud!), but excited to own a real downeast boat and do more commercial fishing and maybe eventually charters with her.

Congrats! You're in a whole new world. I fish on a friends 34 Webbers Cove. It's a solid vessel for our waters up here to say the least!

Dang! You went from a nice, solid boat to a REALLY nice, really solid boat.

That's a sweet new rig. There is a guy Soundownsam that posts regularly on DEBF that will probably have some good suggestions for making her a bit quieter.
