Finally got to spend a few hours on the water today instead of just getting out for an hour at a time. Spent about 4 hours driving around and really seeing how things work. It was a great time. The wind was blowing and seas were 1 - 2 foot. I learned to slow down when it gets choppy. I learned a lot more on how to use the chart plotter. Still a few things to learn on that. We tried to catch some fish but no luck with that. All the stuff I learned in a recent boaters safety class really came together out on the water. Specifically the buoy system. I also met another guy at the marina and he gave some good info and tips for fishing the stripers. Can't wait to get out again
