IM LOOKING TO INSTALL A HARDTOP ON MY 89 2310 W/A , ANY SUGGESTIONS ON FABRICATORS IN THE JERSEY SHORE ARE

Send a PM to GW204. He had a custom t-top built by Pipe Dreams Marine that he was happy with.

I am very interested in knowing about this project.....who, how long and how much. NJ is close enough to me that I would be willing to drag her over there for a roof. Let me know how you make out.

Thanks

There is a great shop on the Delaware side of the bay called Eastcoastx.
website is ...eastcoastx.org
The owner does most of the work...Nate,cell#302-249-8867
Business# 302-645-5198.
Nate has done several things for me and other fishing friends and he is very good at what he does. Rocketlaunchers..Swim platforms..TTops,etc (see website) His prices are very reasonable and very little wait to get the job done. He is across from the new Lewis boat ramp.

Parker makes a 2310 with a hardtop. The factory is usually pretty good with giving information if they dont make them in house who they use.

as I understand it Parker "subs out" all of their tops. Am I right on this?

Kevin, besides the money the rest of the crew is not that enthusiastic about a top. They are all sun worshipers.

I sent for a quote request to the place in Lewis....just a short hop from the beach house where the boat lives.

Thanks.

probably so. At least the tubing they would. It depends on if they have molds for the tops. But yes thats what i meant by them not doing it in house.

I got a rough quote of $3,200.00 for a 5x7 from Nate at East Coast X. A quick response from a request for a quote sheet found on their web site. Sounds kinda small but I would have to take a tape to it. The price sounds right though. I think someone quoted me $5,000.00 a few years back. Gonna keep saving the change from the couch cushions. :D

FF- I agree, you get what you pay for. I would never pull the trigger on anything I buy or build with out good references, getting more than one price and seeing their work first hand. This company came with a reference from above so I shot them an E mail.

Parkerman if your close to Nates shop stop in and talk to him. He has done this work for years and is very good at it.. He will make the T top any way you desire. Right now he is including 2 free rod holders. He designs these tops to match the lines of your boat. You will do no better in N.C. His fiberglass man
has done work for me and builds his own molds and does an excellent job. He honeycombs the hard top for strength. They can be walked on. He also built molds and produces his own line of boats. He has built radio-storage boxes for friends, also a swim platform.
Both of these guys do first class work.

I had a new hard top made and installed this past July. I love it. I will be installing new canvas as soon as i pull her out in January. I run out the Indian River Inlet in Delaware and had the work done here locally by Fritz Geirer who owns the company. here is there link:

Let me get a few pictures pulled together and i will post them. I had other installed as well like rocket launchers, a remote control light on the frot, spreader lights for night fishing and mounted my antennas. I will post pictures.
