hasanyone put hinges on their baitwell door?

one of the factory wires broke on the factory baitwell,I didnt really like them,so I thought Id put some perko ss hinges on? any else do this,any tips?

Interesting. Never really thought about hinges, but would love to see pics of the project and final output if you decide to do so.

A friend of mine has done this on his 21 DVCC and it works great. It is hinged toward the bow using 2 stainless hinges very similar to the ones found on the electronics box door on the center console t-tops. The lid will rest on the legs of the leaning post when folded up. I plan to do this to mine as soon as I find some hinges.

picked up the hinges/screws,will be done this weekend,when the rain finally stops!
