Hello Everyone,

I'm Buff Hendricks from New Smyrna Beach, FL (primarily fish out of Ponce Inlet or FLA Keys) & I recently bought a 1999 2310 WA. The boat came with more than I was looking for, which we are loving - windlass, hardtop with crows nest, front & side curtains & a custom tackle station to enclose the cut out transom. I am coming out of a 20' Pursuit CC and have really noticed the increase in size on the water and in rough seas. I did swap the Yamaha 225HP OX66 off the Parker for the 225HP Suzuki 4 Stroke I had on the Pursuit. What a difference, really is much smoother at idle and actually gained a few MPHs.
I knew I had made the right decision on the 2310 when the third time we fished the boat was in the Striker Offshore Tournament in NSB. We won 1st & 2nd dolphin and 3rd boat overall, even though I was still the smallest boat in the tournament. The only Parker though.
I hope to gain and maybe even share some boating & fishing knowledge on this site and would like to thank everyone for having me.

Thank You,
Buff

Hey Buff
Welcome aboard!!

Nice pic looks like great weather down there.
Hey can you post a pic of your "a custom tackle station to enclose the cut out transom"
Always looking for new ideas here on the site :D

Thanks!
This is the best picture I have and since it rained all weekend here I didn't have a chance to take a better one. The bottom 1' or so slides down a track and the upper part hinges on to it with quick release hinges. The back stay up with 2 bungee cords that hook in the rear motor well. This way, you can lower it down without having to remove it entirely. I leave it up for trailering and just trim the motor up to where it touches it. If you look at the upper right, it has a depth finder that attaches there. Wasn't sure how I would like that, but when you are fishing it is nice to be able to see the depth from the crows nest.
