I like the helpful information, Thanks alot!
I puchases 1987 Sou'Wester Kingfisher Mod V this past winter.
Boat sat for years, but have all systems working, a little rewiring
due to corrosion. A little more work , replace old sea chock for wash down
and replace two decade + bennet trim tab pump. Have twin 225HP 1998
Johnson Ocean runners drink gas like a drunken sailor, but are very relaible! Have a nice pocket sportsfisherman for me & my wife and our four boys. Should have boat in water by August for some inshore tuna fishing.

Those Johnson Ocean Pro's (they were known by several similar names) might drink a bit of fuel, but they are among the most reliable motors in outboard history. :)

Have fun with her, and post photos when you are able.
We're all about the photos here! :D

Welcome aboard :D !

I'd guess some previous owner named her Kingfisher and had a label shop make up the decal using a Parler-like font.

FWIW, if you ever rename her, our own TomS here on CP does the same, but uses an almost perfect Parker font.
