Allow me to introduce my self, my name is Glyn and I have recently became a member of the Parker family. I've just purchased a new 2006 2120. This boat will be fished very hard, I plan on traveling up to 60 miles offshore so I have rigged her the was I think she should be. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Here are some pics.

Raymarine ST8002 Smart Pilot S1G autopilot, so far one of my best investments

Raymarine C120, and they said it wouldn't fit. I picked up a machined heavy duty aluminium brace from West Marine and my electronics installer crossed braced the console and it works quite well. It swings out of the way when not in use and tucks right into perfect viewing position.

I also purchased the S100 Remote control for the autopilot so I can steer for the kelp patties from the tower.

First cruise with family. I am one proud Papa.

Ive been lurking on this site for some time now and have seen some great ideas and I am also filled with questions. Like this one. When I look in to the drain hole in the cabin, I can see water. How do I get that outta there. The boat has been kept on a good angle but it does not seem to drain. Any ideas. Thanks.

Awesome boat Glyn. Congrats.

Isn't there a forward bilge pump there? Or is the drain hole on top of the channel that should just drain straight back toward the stearn?

In any case. The boat rocks and, since I have been stalling in my own Parker purchase...I feel that the middle fingers in pic # 2 are meant just for me!!!!

See you out there! I will honk if I see the tower.

Best,
Dave

Thanks. There is no forward pump so I believe its supposed to drain straight back. As far as the middle finger goes that was meant for the bloodydecks.com board and I forgot it was in there. It is not meant for anybody in particular just a salute and I hope you aren't offended. When I first thought about buying a boat my wife said do it what are you waiting for, you never know when something might happen. So my advice to is is go for it. Call Sundance and ask for John Bernardo, tell him his favorite customer Bloody Deck Glyn sent you.

Glyn,

Nice rig, good luck with her.

What type of outrigger mounts are those on your pilothouse?

Thanks. The outriggers are made by LEE'S. The model number is OH277T T-Top Rigger. I purchased them from West Marine online, they were on clearance and when I called and talked to the guy he said that they had about 30 pairs left. The mounts accept the 1.5" outrigger poles. I believe that the set cost $360 out the door.

Dang! Nice setup! 8)
Congratulations on a great fishing machine! :)

Nice rig. I've never seen so much gear/electronics packed into a 21 footer. And a bronze thru hull to boot. First class. 8)

Offended? Glyn, I grew up in NJ!!!!!!

Yes, I know John at Sundance super guy. I have been struggling with east coast vs west coast prices for months...I am starting not to care about spending a few bucks more for the convenience of buying locally.

Your boat kicks @$$!!!!

Post pics of your fish and any feedback on the boat when you can.

Glyn,
I am also very interested in some performance numbers once you get that 200 through the break-in period. Most people think the 150 works great with the 2120, but I am thinking I should spend the extra bucks to get the 200. I look forward to your thoughts.

Glyn,
Glad to see you decided to post pics of your boat here as well. Let me know how those outriggers work, I'm eventually putting some on mine just haven't decided what I want yet. I like the underwater lights too. Yeah, the guys at Sundance treated me awesome. I dealt with Joel mostly but spoke to John numerous times. Contrary to what I read about Sundance, I don't think I could have been treated any better. Tom Delgado rigged your boat and mine and does top notch work too. As a sidenote, I just put airbags on the rear of my truck and it makes a big difference as far as towing. I know yours isn't quite as heavy as mine but if your rig sags at all you might consider them. Good luck with your new toy. Randy.

Wow ... can you ever imagine a better equipped pocket battleship ... :?: ?? Yowzaa!

Remember a story back in 81 off the coast of New Jersey where a 31 Bertram with tuna tower got a breaker on the port side and tipped with 450 pounds of fat guys on the tower. Be careful of the troughs!!
