Hello guys,

Well tommorrow I turn another page in boat ownership, will be selling my 2000 Grady White 265 Express. You know what they say about the best two days of boat ownership - hope they are right.

I have been looking to downsize to something in the 20-22 foot range, and I dont need the offshore range anymore so my wife and two young children when to local boat show this past weekend and walked all over many CC's. I just wasnt happy with any of them, they all seemed to small.

Thinking of what I really wanted we went to the local Parker dealer and walked on a 2320 Sport Cabin - just awesome, and the cockpit was huge!

We then walked all over a 2120 PSport Cabin and it just seemed perfect for what I want. I would not give up any cockpit space compared to my Grady, and the cabin has a little porti potti for my children, a place for them to lay down, and place for us all to sit.

This is all in a trailable package! Although I will keep it a local marina with a pool!

So the search is on for a lightly used 2120 Sport Cabin!

Is this Tim from CTFisherman?

I bought the Okumas from you many years ago?

Yes sir! How are you doing?

I just sold my Grady so I will be stepping up the boat search abit.

My boating has changed with my four year old and two year old!

I have been at Crockers and will continue there another year!

Welcome Tim, I did the same thing two years ago and downsized from a 2000 Pursuit 3000 express to a 2520XL. I certainly have not regretted it,and really enjoy my Parker. Good luck Mike

Thanks guys - Grady is gone and now the search begins.

I am surprised at the lack of response I have from some brokers - emailed about four boats, heard back from one person! WoW!

HI Tim
I have a 2120 with a closed transom and armstrong bracket. (only one in existence ) Boat is a 2003 with a 200 hpdi and probably has around 300 hours on it.( can get actual hours tomorrow) Boat has second station and all the bells and whistles including radar and Garmin 4208 chart plotter. I built a custom bench seat with tackle storage that is also 1 of a kind and i also installed a factory pulpit last year. Boat sits on a 2010 venture aluminum roller trailer.

I was going to wait till March to list it but since you are in CT this might be of interest to you. boat is in Old Lyme and is well documented in the projects section back in 2008 and around Christmas of last year for the tackle storage seat.

Tim, you found your boat, trust me I have seen this 2120 in person and it is cherry. Run, don't walk to that deal. If you really want a 2120, this is the boat you want.

Now I anxiously await a call from Steve to buy my 2530.

Seriously Tim, you need to look at his boat.

This is it......

More pics of it in this thread...... viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10678

Steve's 2120 is the nicest 2120 you will ever find hands down! If you are looking for a 2120 that's the one you want.

Few Pics that I had of his boat from the parker raft up.

I have the same Barbie rod!

The only issue with the amazing Parker is that it is and HPDI.
I had twin 200 HPDI's on my Grady and loved them, but my wife is very sensitive to the two stroke smell.

For the price range I am honing in on 2008/2009 w/ an F150.
His boat is awesome but just a hard sell to my wife.
In no way am I implying it is not worth what he is asking, but if the price was more attractive I might be able to turn the wife.
Thanks!
Tim
