Is it difficult to remove the helm chair from the pedestal? Anybody here ever done it and can provide a step-by-step. Thank you!

It… shouldn’t be?

Usually it’s just a rod with a knob on the end, same one that lets you turn the seat. Loosen that, and the seat should slip up and off.

Do you have any pictures? Is yours proving tough to remove?
