hi to anyone with 2530?

designing a sink and storage cabinet for port side of a new 2530. asking builder to leave out seat aft of mates chair. i've estimated 48h-36w-24d for cabinet and drafted accordingly. more real realistic measurements sure would be helpful as don't want to interfere with door or window. don't have the boat as yet so my measures are only guess work. any pixs very helpful also.

I have a 2530 and im assuming you are talking about the area where they put the bench seat typically? The only thing with going up really high is the cabin starts to narrow up as it gets higher. The lower section below the gunnel is really wide and would be neat to have it angled up under there as to not waste the space.

Why not just go with the galley package offered by Parker???
This is the older version from Dana's boat, mine is similiar.

Man, I really want a 2530. I'd give up 3' of cockpit space for all that room.

That's really nice Bryan, did you buy it that way or did you install it yourself. Either way it makes good use of the extra space taken.

That picture is not my boat, it is of the interior of a green 2530 owned by forum member Dana, (dcunnif).

My boat has a similar looking galley package with the sink and fridge. Parker makes them that way. Mine has a 10 gallon water tank in there too.

It looks just like this minus the microwave, this is forum member fuellevellow's 2530 before he got the 2820.

Sorry, I spent much more time this winter on gun sights for some obvious reasons.

I have a bunch of pics of 2530 interior on various threads. I may have a Parker book kicking around if it has some dimensions.

I haven't untarped yet and may delay it until next weekend with more rain coming this week.

Sorry, typed too fast as was on way out to buy some spirng boating supplies. Meant to say have been on many gun websites this winter.

No make 2830 anymore, not enough sales.

These are pics from '96 2530.

Has 12V fridge, sink and 10 gal tank, 2 burner alcohol stove, drawers.

Dinette has storage under each bench seat, two-post dinette. Dinette table comes off posts and lays flush between benches then put a hard back filler foam insert between the forward bench and the wall for the vee berth and you get a single berth in the cabin.
