Sorry i missed this. not sure if you are still interested or not but I really like my Honda. She is smooth and refined. It has been reliable to me too with the nearly 400 hours i have on it. i did have to replace an O2 sensor at about 200 hours. I think the Hondas are the most fuel efficient 4 stroke on the market with their lean burn technology. I burn right about 8gph at 4000rpms and I am propped to turn 5800rpms. I know the Honda 225 is about 1 gph less at the same speeds on a Judge 27 than a Zuke 250. The Zuke 250 is about 4 mph faster though. Hondas are heavier than some of the other 4 strokes but no as heavy as most lead to believe. they got their heavy reputation as one of the first with 4 stroke outboards in a 2 stoke environment. When I think heavy motors today, I think verado or v8 yamahas. As far as power goes the Honda isnt as stout as the Verado, zuke or EFI 2 strokes but she has every bit of grunt, if not more than the F225. Of course the F250 has more spunk than the Honda but it is more HP too. The 225 Honda pushes my 26'4" and 4500lb hull to a top speed of 38mph with a full load. I have tickled 40mph trimmed out in calm water with med load. My hull has 12 degrees of deadrise.
One cool thing is that Hondas come with a 5 year factory warranty all the time.. no games or promotional periods.
