Epoxy blocks of wood and screw the rod holders to those. Paint the wood blocks with some of my Parker color matched paint and you're good to go.

How would i get the wood blocke to stick to the side of the walls in lower cabin? They have the carpet on them

I believe you'd need to cut out the carpet. I'd cut it a little smaller than the wood so you won't see the cutout.

Send a PM to TimC2520.

Keith, If you don't want to through-bolt, use wood blocks that have been coated with West Systems (or equiv) epoxy to seal them, then as 96TL says, cut out a square of carpet and bond the wood to the hull.

Use thickened epoxy or 5200 to bond the wood to the fiberglass, let dry, then attach the rod holders.
The wood blocks won't have to be too thick to allow for the proper stand-off of the rod holders.

Measure 3 times, cut once. :)

Good luck!

Well i will def. try something like you guys said for sure so i get a nice clean look to it and will make sure take time with you so dont mess up and make it look nasty!!!
