Of course, most of my photos are of Parkers, but there were a few other cool boats there as well. :)

Got to show Greg (B-Faithful) working the Judge boats at the show!

The only other boat that I'd ever consider selling my Parker for...
It is a Robbins 40 hull by Mathews Brothers in Denton Maryland and the interior is all teak.

The Maryland Independence.
This boat was the Maryland Governors launch until former Governor Ehrlich sold it very early into his first, and only term.

Built in Nova Scotia in 1944 for use as a Canadian submarine chaser, the 112 foot Independence was humbly refurbished in the 1970s as a pleasure boat. In addition to that with its 3 guest staterooms, main salon, dinbin area, galley, 2 guest heads, crew quarters & sundeck, the yacht can carry 35 people to sea or hold 70 people when docked.
The state bought the vessel in December 1986, under the administration of Gov. Harry R. Hughes (D), for $635,000, said Heather Lynch, spokeswoman for the Department of Natural Resources, plus the trade-in of the 58-foot Trumpy yacht comfortably named Aurora that the state had owned.

The Maryland Independence is now privately owned and available for charter.

And now... how about a few Parker photos, starting with the 34 SC :)

The folding rear seat always seems to be an item that members ask about.

That Robbins/Mathewes is a beauty!

She is, though my photos don't really do her justice.
The craftsmanship is outstanding.

Thanks for the tour of the Boatshow. I was unable to make the show thus enjoyed your tour. However, I wish you had taken a photo of the price tag for the 34 SC which looks like it is a sweet boat.

thanks Again

I was there on Saturday with my local GW buddy Scott. My first time. It was great. A party atmosphere and plenty of great boats to look at. Kevin- I was on both the Mathews and the Governors Launch. Both great boats that pictures do not do justice to.

Capt. Kevin,
Thanks for the nice pictures. I am also a fan of Mathews Boats. If you ever get the opportunity, stop by their shop and their winter storage facility. You can see a huge warehouse full of 40 footers. Mathews has a 29 footer "Miss Claire" that I would love to buy. Pete Mathews sure knows his stuff about boats. I still like the idea of being able to trailer a boat to where I'd like to fish. A 2520 would look great sitting in my driveway.

Charlie,
