Intake Strainer size ?

Hi guy's. Looking to get some parts to take care of some projects as soon as the weather breaks. My main project is going to be installing raw water wash. I have been looking at the Intake Strainers and I don't know what size I should get. What do you guy's think? is 3/4" enough?

I want to use it for the wash down and also pipe it to run a 17 gal. live well.

Your pump specs should tell you that info, bigger is better if you are running a livewell.
