When I bought my 2300dv it had a 9.9 Yamaha kicker motor installed on the bracket. It is plumbed back to the permanent gas tank. I’m going to remove the motor and sell it but question is what’s the best way (other than fiberglass work if possible) to fill the round opening made through the transom where it was plumbed back to the gas tank?

Either a.) remove the fuel line and glass, fare and paint the hole or
b.) remove the fuel line, install a stainless clam shell rigging cover and back fill the hole with 3m 4200 fast cure or UV4000 ( either adhesive sealant will work to make that glass water proof) and the stainless clam shell will make it "aesthetically pleasing".
