Hi guys,

Was finally able to test the boat (away on business) with the swap I did by changing the OEM 12x12 to 12x18 blades on my 2006 2300CC DV with 250 HP yamaha, the ride was 100% better and I was able to bring the bow as much as I wanted, the seas were a 2 to 3 foot chop and the boat handled the waves without any problems.there were 4 of us on the boat loaded with spearfishing gear (breath hold).

I highly recomend this upgrade to anyone who does not want to move actuator, drill new hole, cover old holes ,also I know some out there do not mind offsetting the actuator on blades, this also does not need to be done, its an all around upgrade and you wont be disappointed.

Thanks for the info, I would like to do this upgrade also someday.

Cool ! I may try that myself this fall/winter.

John, let me know when you are going to do it, I'll come by and give you a hand.

Where did you get the 12X18 tabs?
I went to Lenco's website but could only find packages.
Thanks,
dave

I put 12 x 24 Bennett tabs on my 2320
HUGE difference over the factory lencos
The Bennetts have a much better hindge also !

Ronnie:

How is that f250 and the rev 4 working out with the engine up two holes? Any cavitation at all in a short following sea?

I am thinking about putting my engine back down to the top hole. I sometimes get cavitation in certain following sea conditions.

No problems with cavitation at all.
shifted some weight forward also (batteries) and that helped, though the boat sits different in the water at the dock, depending on fuel tank being full or empty.
