What’s happening guys, I’ve had an issue happen to me twice now and just want some peoples opinions!
We go out drifting for fluke, figure 3-4 hours without issue. But usually the last drift of the day when we’re about to pack it up and head in the motor won’t turn over. I’ll key on and crank for 5-10 seconds and nothing. After 4-6 times of doing this it sounds like the batteries are going to die so drop anchor and I let it sit. Push the key in, idle up, crank again and it will start but immediately stall, next crank she fires up like it never happened and runs home like the bat out of hell she is.
I’ve checked the fuel primer bulb when this happens and it’s solid. I’m kind of leaning towards batteries, they are 2-3 seasons old. Once it seems to catch she fires up like nothing so I’m thinking the weak turning is causing it
